The Yacht Club San Vicente is situated in a privileged environment Galician geography due to its proximity to the Atlantic Islands Maritime-Terrestrial National Park
Since its creation in 1998, the Club Náutico San Vicente has had a clear informative vocation of the d-valuessport, culture and the environment, promoting nautical sports from the Sailing School and through the organization of cruise ship and classic boat regattas, fishing contests, art exhibitions, cultural conferences, recognition of grandes nautical and cultural figures, promotion of the fluvial maritime route traveled by the mortal remains of the Apostle Santiago from Haffa, issuing the necessary nautical charts to obtain the Traslatio Apostólica and numerous awareness-raising activities sobre the environmental values of our environment, taking into account the special characteristics of the marine and terrestrial environment of San Vicente, O Grove and the National Maritime Terrestrial Park of the Atlantic Islands.
The Yacht Club develops its activities with a vocation open to society and around the port of Pedras Negras, declared strategic along with other marinas by Portos de Galicia. It currently has 134 moorings between 6 and 12 meters in length and 10 of the places reserved for passers-by and a mobile jetty for use in the summer period with which to provide greater coverage for passers-by and boats that approach the port of Pedras Negras to participate in the different regattas. In the summer of 2013, the mobile jetty helped the VI Edition of the Atlantic Islands Regatta – Red Eléctrica, Classic and Vintage Boats, became the largest participation ever recorded in the Atlantic Norte.
He currently owns the distinctive of the Blue Flag and is certified with the Q for Tourist Quality for the excellence of its facilities complying with the UNE: ISO 13687-2 Standard
