On the island of A Toxa The first Resort in Spain and one of the first in Europe was founded, as we understand it today, with a golf course associated with the Gran Hotel Balneario, the fifth course built in Spain and the first linked to a Hotel. A spa complex where the Gran Hotel placed the name of the island of la Toxa in the Michelin Guide before other prestigious hotels such as the Palace or the Ritz in Madrid appeared and boasting, not insignificant fortune, of being one of the establishments that has been featured in such a prestigious guide for the longest years.
