The Grove Aquarium is the first of Galicia where you can pass by the depths of the Gallegas Rivers, the tropical ponds and the Atlantic Ocean, and recognize the species of marinas that live in them, of a very certain form.
The acuario is a theoretical, scientific and disclosive space, reference of ocio that we can already visit.
With more than 500,000 liters of water, it is divided into 27 acuarios with a collection of 1,000 examples of more than 200 different species, which destacan los tiburones, tortugas, rayas, pulpos, morenas o caballitos de mar among others.
Free visits without time limits. You can follow the guideline through the explanatory panels that are in each of the acuarios; Through them we can recognize the characteristics of the different species of each ecosystem.
The groups have the option to have the guided visit through our monitors.
Free parking for visitors.
The aquarium has different additional activities to the visits:
– Diving with sharks
-Birthday celebration
-Playground in an outdoor space
-Shellfishing area in an interior space
– Pets must remain on the lap or be on a leash; always under your control.
– Normally, they remain calm and the visit goes without problems.If for any reason they get nervous, they should go out to calm down and come in later or even another day if you see that it is not possible.
The aquarium opens every day from Easter until August 31. During the rest of the year it can be visited on weekends and holidays, although it is recommended to consult its website. Regular opening hours from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (until 8:00 p.m. from July 15 to August 15).
Last access to the aquariums 30 min. before the closing time of the facilities.
