mid july This traditional festival is celebrated, being the 16th its day grande and even local holidays. The Square of O Corgo it becomes the main meeting place for all the folkloric, recreational, religious and cult activities to the sea.

In addition to the usual festivals, fairground attractions and street stalls, fireworks are set off at midnight from the 15th to the 16th.

The afternoon of 16 July the sailors of O Grove pay homage to their patron saint and protector, the Virgen del Carmen. The entire town comes with devotion to the procession that leaves from the parish church accompanying the Virgin and goes to the port. From here the procession continues by sea on board the boats of the Groven sailors. Once immersed in the waters of the Arousa estuary, the boats all stop together to deposit a wreath for those who have left their lives at sea.
