An old tradition indicates that those women with problems to have children will have to go to the beach of A Lanzada the night of the last Saturday in August to take the bath of the nine waves.

After the bath, they will have to go to the chapel of Our Lady of A Lanzada, located in the neighboring municipality of Sanxenxo, and pass the altarpiece and apse sweeping with a broom, to conclude by making an offering.
