Located in O Grove (Galicia), the Pescanova Biomarine Center is the Aquaculture R&D Center of the Nueva Pescanova Group: it investigates how to improve the health, sustainability and animal welfare of animals in aquaculture, as well as new species that are not cultivated in the world.
The Pescanova Biomarine Center is world pioneer in closing the life cycle of the octopus in Aquaculture.
In the museum you will learn about the importance of marine ecosystems for the life of the Planet, what are its problems and how we should avoid them, as well as what is aquaculture and why it was born in China 3.500 years before Christ.
You will dive through different experiences in the depths of the sea to learn all its secrets:

• You will listen through hydrophones to the noise of marine animals
• You will see a self-sufficient aquatic ecosystem invented by NASA
• You will visit the underwater laboratory of the Biomarine Center
• You will know the history of aquaculture and its benefits
