Also known as Paxareiro, it is a straight beach, with fine white sand, located between the beaches of A Lanzada and Area da Cruz. Although open to the Atlantic Ocean, due to its southern orientation it is sheltered from the prevailing winds in summer and from there you can get wonderful views of the island of Ons. Its calm, crystal-clear waters are ideal for swimming, although it is necessary to be careful against the undertow caused by certain types of tides. It has an anchoring area for boats. It has a large parking lot, security service and toilets, as well as a beach bar and other hospitality establishments.
