There are two fishing ports on this small peninsula in the heart of the Rías Baixas: that of O Grove and that of Porto Meloxo.

The first is located in the center of O Grove, where an important part of the municipality’s fishing fleet has its mooring. In this port are also located the recreational boats that carry out various trips along the Arousa estuary, the most popular being the so-called mussel route.

As for Porto Meloxo, the boats docked here mainly focus their activity on inshore fishing and extracting mussels from the numerous rafts in the Ría de Arousa. In this port it is also common to see small traditional and recreational boats moored.
