The exceptional natural conditions of the Pontevedra estuary have been used to create a modern marina in Sanxenxo and another in Portonovo.
The Ría de Pontevedra has very good conditions for the practice of sailing and it is a sport for which Sanxenxo has definitely bet.
Juan Carlos I Marina
It has an entrance of 50m and a draft of 5 to 8m and 450 moorings of between 8 and 45m.
Sanxenxo Royal Yacht Club
Its objective is basic sailing, where more than 400 students are initiated and recycled during the year.
Portonovo Marina
The Yacht Club has more than 330 members, their families and 160 boats.
