Built in the mid-18th century, although it includes a tower from the 17th century. The Valladares, Sarmiento, Prego and other families can be seen on its coat of arms. The manor is topped by battlements and has the imposing appearance of a noble house, with six tall windows on the main façade. The stone ashlar makes it even more stately, as it gives the whole a rustic but monumental appearance. The manor was acquired by the Pardo Bazán family and the Galician writer Ms. Emilia Pardo Bazán spent the summers of her childhood there, a place that served as the setting for her novel “Una Cristiana.”
