Starting from the area of la Lanzada, we take direction Sur towards Bahia; After a long stretch, we will have the option of turning towards the Surthis until you reach the zona de “Los Acantilados” by the derivation of the Route (from each of the three highlights that make it up you can admire excellent panoramic views of the coast and the Ons Archipelago).

Whether or not this derivation is completed, we continue at the foot of the road to the beach of Major and its recreation area. At this point you can also choose to take the Rego do Souto River Route.

To complete the route, there two options:

  • Take the road to the northeast through an area of forest tracks to the place of Pontes and directly ascending Monte Faro. It is right at the foot of the Cruceiro de Faro where this route and its variant (shorter option) come together.
  • Continue towards the beach Major until the existing recreational area to arrive by a small path to the vicinity of the beach of Bascuas. At this point it turns in the direction Norte to Aios, passing through the vicinity of the old tin mines. In Aios, you can visit the Hermitage of San Juan and the stone cross, as well as the fountain and the washing place. From there we ascend to Monte Faro, where we find the Faro stone cross, the necropolis and the old pre-Roman settlement (4.000 years old). From here and crossing the Expressway of the Salnés, we continue along the service road that takes us to the final point of the Route, the Mirador de As Canteiras.
